Summit of the People of America

DEAR BABELIANS,

Next November in Mar del Plata, Argentina, the III Summit of the People of America will be held.

In the same city, on the 4th and 5th, the IV Summit of the Americas will be carried out, to which the 34 presidents of the member countries of the OAS (Organization of American States) –from which Cuba is excluded- will attend, including the north American president.

The Americas Hemispherical Council (HC) of the WSF called our people to meet in our own summit, to bury once and for all the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas), to say enough is enough with the free trade agreements and privatizations, to let our voice and claims be heard, to pass to a higher level of unity in our fight.

From Babels Argentina we believe Babels presence is very important in this demonstration.
