Postby emfathelbab » Wed Oct 06, 2004 10:03 am

Hi

Are there any translators currently working for Babels USA?

Yes, there are presently 128 members of Babels who live in the US. But I only found one in the database who's in North Carolina: Scotty Michaelsen. Is that you?

Hi Leda

I'm new to the USA and Babels... Is the person you mentioned or indeed are fellow Bables USA members contactable?

I'm about to graduate with a Masters in Translation from the UK.

What are your languages?

E.M.

Hi E.M. (do you have a name??)
Yes, I could put you in contact with babelit@s in North Carolina, but as I told you there's only one babelito there and he is not you...
That means that you are not subscribed to the INFO-USA mailing list, the only database I have access to.
If you are going back to the UK, you're probably subscribed to the Info-UK mailing list, right? Maybe you want to try the UK Forum?

PS: which city are you in? Maybe you're in the same city as the other babelito. Also, are you registered in Babels???

Hello,
I am also in North Carolina-Charlotte for only one more month though. I currently continue my translation-interpretation education in Turkey. My language is Turkish as you can guess:) I hope a workshop or a meeting is arranged before I left here.
