Note from Greg: Average page count for each document is 6 pages, some are really short. Their needs are rather urgent, ideally by Tuesday best week, 26 April at the latest. They also need help with proofreading documents.

Dear Babels volunteers,

Hello from the Fair Trade movement. I am writing you because we are in need of Spanish and French translators for documents we need to send to all our members for our global conference in Mombasa, Kenya. The World Fair Trade Organization works with small producers, farmers and artisans to improve their livelihoods and incomes through fairer terms of trade, but we do not have enough funds to address our translation needs. All our budgets are directly spent on our programs and projects, and these comes mostly from the pockets of small producers and farmers through their membership fees.

We heard of your great works in making this world easier to communicate through your fantastic volunteer translators. Would you be so kind to spread the word that WFTO is in need of volunteer French and Spanish translators to translate conference documents?

Our beneficiaries will really appreciate you if you can help us address this need.

Thank you vey much and hope to hear from all of you soon.

Warm wishes,

*Michael Sarcauga **Communications Officer** *
