The call for interpreters is now out!
10 years after the European Social Forum and Babels emerged, we are gathering again in Florence!
Firenze 10+10 is a self-organized and self-funded event, that is meant to be an opportunity to "meet and converge to build together pan-European and Mediterranean strategies, campaigns and mobilizations", and "rebuild a counter-power and pan-European common actions – with a longer term vision to help us define and build the Europe that we want". There will be 7 rooms equipped for simultaneous interpreting with a mix of commercial and COATI equipment for seminars as well as spiders for smaller activities.

Approximate number of interpreters: 50/60
Language needs: Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Greek, Russian, Arabic, as well as Eastern Europe languages
Accommodation: a mix of homestay and collective accommodation
Interpreting Budget (excluding equipment): 15000 euros, to cover as usual transportation, accommodation (if need be), food and a 4 day pass to travel within Florence
Food:
wed eve: they will book in a restaurant for us, we’ll eat there. Thurs lunch+dinner, fri lunch+dinner in fortezza: all you can eat organic buffet. Saturday<: lunch at fortezza. Dinner: restaurant booking or per diem (tbc)
Sunday: lunch and dinner: either at restaurants or perdiem (tbc)
breakfasts: in the bar at fortezza. tbc
Transportation:
All tickets will be prepaid. Do NOT buy tickets before talking to us.
Programme: the programme will be available (according to the forum organizers’ schedule on the 30th of October
There will be a nice Babels room on premises.
Translation for the 6 thematic mailing list is currently being dealt with.
The selection process is underway,
We’ll soon start booth planning as well as the collection of infos from speakers and seminars’ coordinators.

Firenze 10+10 è un evento auto-organizzato e auto-finanziato, che vuole essere un’opportunità per “incontrarsi e trovarsi per costruire insieme delle strategie, campagne e mobilitazioni a livello paneuropeo e mediterraneo” e per “ricostruire un contropotere e delle azioni comuni a livello paneuropeo, con una visione a lungo termine che ci aiuti a definire e a costruire l’Europa che vogliamo”. Per i seminari ci saranno 7 sale preparate per l’interpretazione simultanea, dotate di attrezzatura tecnica proveniente da COATI e da aziende commerciali, mentre per le attività più piccole useremo gli spider.

Alloggio: un mix di alloggi solidali in famiglie e alloggi comuni
Budget per l’interpretazione (attrezzatura escluse): 15000 euro, che copriranno le spese di viaggio, gli alloggi (se necessari), i pasti e un abbonamento per i mezzi di trasporto di Firenze valido 4 giorni.
Pasti:
mer sera: sarà prenotato un ristorante per noi e mangeremo lì. Gio pranzo+cena, ven pranzo+cena: buffet con cibo biologico alla fortezza. Sab: pranzo alla fortezza. Cena: prenotazione in un ristorante o per diem (da confermare). Domenica: pranzo e cena: ristorante o per diem (da confermare). Colazioni: alla fortezza (da confermare)
Trasporti:
Tutti i biglietti verrano acquistati in anticipo. NON acquistare il biglietto prima di aver parlato con noi.

Sul posto sarà presente una sala riservata a Babels.
Stiamo organizzando la traduzione per le 6 mailing list tematiche.

Florence 10+10 est un événement organisé et financé de manière indépendante, une occasion pour “se rencontrer et se retrouver pour créer ensemble des stratégies, des campagnes et des mobilisations aux niveaux paneuropéen et méditerrané” et pour “créer un contre-pouvoir et des actions communes à niveau paneuropéen, avec une vision à long terme qui puisse nous aider à définir et à créer l’Europe que nous voulons”. Logement: un mélange de logements sociaux chez des familles et logements communs
Budget pour l’interprétation (outils non compris): 15000 euros pour les frais de voyage, de logement (si nécessaires), les repas et un abonnement de 4 jours pour le transport à Florence
Repas:
Mercredi soir: au restaurant. Jeudi : déjeuner et diner. Vendredi : déjeuner et diner (buffet bio à la Fortezza). Samedi: déjeuner à la Fortezza, diner au restaurant ou per diem (à confirmer). Dimanche: déjeuner et diner au restaurant ou per diem (à confirmer). Petits déjeuners: à la Fortezza (à confirmer)
Transport:
Tous les billets seront achetés à l’avance. Il ne faut PAS acheter les billets sans nous consulter.

On est en train d’organiser la traduction pour les 6 mailing list thématiques.
La sélection est en train de commencer.
Bientôt on va préparer un programme pour les cabines et rassembler informations de la part des orateurs et des modérateurs des séminaires.
