Beautiful article and thank you for the pictures, Irin. I’ve seen how too many times Israelis and Americans abroad, especially in progressive settings, are unable to just talk about the weather and end up forced to participate in deep discussions about political stuff. It’s way easier for me when travelling, being from Latin America makes you an instant approved spokesperson for the third world opressed!
