Ciudad de Caracas en el IV FSM / Caracas during the IV WSF

El Foro se llevó a cabo en distintos puntos de la Ciudad de Caracas, lo cuál nos permitió a los intérpretes ver algo de la ciudad mientras nos transportábamos en metro a nuestros diferentes puestos de trabajo. Aprovecho para celebrar la iniciativa de Babels de designar intérpretes en "Stand-by" que atendieran las necesidades de último minuto. Siempre hay alguien que necesita un intérprete de último minuto. Creo que éste recurso va a ser útil en cualquier evento futuro. Ojalá lo mantengamos.

The Forum was held at different points of the City of Caracas. This allowed us, interpreters, to see different parts of the city while commuting (using the subway) to our different working posts. I would like to celebrate the Babels’ organizers initiative to designate "Stand-by" interpreters, who would be at the office waiting for a last-minute call. There is always someone who needs interpretation. I hope we keep this useful resource in every future event.
