Group of facilitators

The Babels international meeting will be largely self-organized, just as Babels itself is largely a self-organized, horizontal network. However, to deal with the logistical details of the event, there is a need for a small group of facilitators who will make the event physically possible. This group will support the self-organized process by providing help and information and by promoting links between the different participants and topics discussed.

Disclaimer: The group of facilitators is NOT an organizing committee in the sense that it will NOT decide how the event itself will be organized, and what the program will be. The group is composed of a small number of people, so as to remain unintrusive and efficient. The facilitators’ personal views will be expressed only as individual participants from within the general process, and their personal views will carry as much weight as anybody else’s.
